Ok, as a huge fan of We Will Rock You and Wicked, I couldn't not buy Kerry Ellis's new album 'Anthems' which came out yesterday. It's produced by Brian May, and features some songs written especially for the album, a couple of Queen songs (including her and May's version of 'No-one But You') and songs from Wicked, Chess etc. John Miceli plays drums on three of the tracks, 'Dangerland', written by Brian May, 'Anthem', from 'Chess', and 'I Can't Be Your Friend', written by Brian May and Don Black.
interesting. thanks! i will look into this. no sarcasm meant. modern online chat is so much fun!

Cheers for pointing this out. Wow she has a great voice. Listening to her No-one but You rendition. Although it's beautiful I find the middle bit a little strange as to me it almost sounds too jazzy (Michael Buble-ish) in comparison to the rest of the song. Love the orchestral opening and Kerry singing on top of that and the ending. Maybe I'm being a bit picky :? ?
Dangerland is a great new typical Brian May "anthem". I like "I can't be your Friend (This Can't be Over)", great song.
Wish Brian May would do another solo record. I was lucky enough to catch him on his Another World tour and thought he was awesome.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but John also plays drums on Foxy Shazam's album.
didn't Brian do Hot Patootie a few years ago on one of records? That was awesome.

It seems that way, but I've often wondered why Meat hasn't asked Brian for any songs or why Brian hasn't offered Meat any songs
