When was Hearts on Fire (Car Trouble) recorded I just heard it for the first time on youtube thanks to WarioLoaf. It's a shame it wasn't on an album because it is really good I wish he would start doing it live it would be awesome.

1986 for the film Car Trouble. It and A Time For Heroes are better than most of the crap on Blind Before I Stop.

I completely agree! Except maybe Standing On The Outside what an amazing song.
Oh and thanks for the info.
am i seriously the only person who loves BBIS?????
and very glad you liked my batman music video
This track was scheduled to be relased as a single to coincide with the film release, but there was another song (by Phil Collins I think) called Hearts On Fire; that wasn't connected to the film at all, that was released at the same time, so the Meat track was pulled.

I still think "Exectution Day" is among Meat's finest, as is "Standing On The Outside." And "Heart's On Fire" is pretty awesome as well.

I don't hate it, but I don't think it's particularly good either. Execution Day is a brilliant song, but the amount of crap outways the number of good songs.
I love the album except for Special Girl.
A Man and A Woman is very relaxing.
as for Car Trouble, Id have preferred it to BBIS (which is still a great rocker). And have the album retitled "Execution Day" but thats just me.
The songs should have gotten better arrangements. They are not bad but they don't sound like rock.
And have the album retitled "Execution Day"
Great idea.
