OK I know this is a bit random but if Meat was to do a duet with a female country singer who would you like it to be? Personally I'd like him to duet with Wynonna I know I'll probably be shot down for this but she has got a powerful and amazing voice like Meat's and I just think that they would sound good together.

Funny enough, I heard a song by her a little while back called The Grass Is Blue, and I could just imagine Meat's vocal on that song.

I actually like Country music, have just got Reba Mcentires album Keep On Loving You. It is excellent and is competing with HCTB to be heard;)
So a country duet would be imo a great idea.

I have a lot of Garths albums, but Trisha Yearwood is one country singers album that i don't have, by the sounds of it i need to get one !

They're both very good, Reba sounds a little rockier, in my opinion. Can't tell who is better. I listened to a Leonard Cohen tribute album two or three days ago that includes a beautiful version of Coming Back To You performed by Trisha Yearwood. I'm not that much into country music but she has a fantastic voice I like to listen to.

What song is "Swing"? I don't know the song, but I'm sure they would sound great singing it, as always.
I'm not a big country music fan. I do like Reba, but I'm not sure she would sound good with Meat.

I've seen both Reba and Trisha in concert. They are both very good singers, but Reba has more star quality, imo. Reba hosted the American Music Awards with Meat in 1994. She seemed perplexed by him from some of the expressions on her face.
I've heard Trisha sing with various artists, but her duets with Garth always sound best. Their voices were made to sing together and they're married so the emotion is real. Coincidentally, Reba & Trisha sing a duet together on Reba's "Duets" album.
If Meat sings a duet with Trisha, then Garth can sing a duet with Patti.
After hearing Patti sing "Here We Are", I'd still go with Meat & Patti for any duet regardless of the genre.

If I had to pick a female country singer it would obviously be Dolly, but if I had to pick a country singer my second choice would Garth Brooks, and my first choice would be Kenny Rogers. I've adored Kenny since I was small (in fact I was learning Kenny Rogers songs from vinyls before I was a Meat fan!!!) so the two of them together would be immense. Have never managed to see Garth live but we saw Kenny at Newcastle Arena last year and it was phenominal, he gave me a lovely tambourine :p
