Was there any particular reason that Rock And Roll Dreams and Roll Over Beethoven from that show were put out as B-sides on one of the Objects In The Rear View Mirror singles? Was there a plan to release more songs from the show on other singles that got scrapped or was it a one off? The rest of the B-sides for the Bat 2 singles came from the live rehearsals for the tour, so why do something different for this single?

The version of Objects that includes those tracks is the US version on MCA (http://mljs.evilnickname.org/meatloaf/singles/objectsintherearviewmirror.html#v3). AFAIK, it's the only US-single to contain live tracks.

The tour rehearsal songs ("Recorded in New York, NY, during July 1993") appear, again AFAIK, only on the Virgin/Non-US singles. So I hazzard a guess that it's a rights issue.

Well worth finding. A cracking RARD and Roll Over Beethoven, plus a couple of crummy edits of Objects.
