View Full Version : Why only one female in the band for the Bat 2 tour?

I know that Pearl joined towards the end of the Bat 2 tour, but for the majority of it Patti was on her own. Now I know that Patti is quite capable of singing for two (at least) but isn't it a bit odd that for the previous 10 years or so there were two backing singers in the Neverland Express, yet for Meat's big comeback tour there was only one?

Not even to stand in the background and go "Ooooooo" and " Aaaaaah" for 2 and a half hours?

Maybe they were worried Patti would kick another female like when she kicked the bus.

I don't fully understand what CC adds to NLE to be honest  apart from being a bit of eye-candy. Patti & Meat should be more than enough vocals.
Pearl wasn't on the Bat 2 tour. She joined in May 1996 during the European leg of the WTTN tour.

Pearl toured with the band during the summer of 94 when she was on break from college. I saw her at the Florida show.
As for 2 females, I don't see the need either.

I think the backing vocals sounded better when Pearl joined.

I saw a show with her and a show without her. Honestly, I couldn't hear a difference with the vocals when she was there or not.
