The song CHSIB will be featured on a local short-wave radio program that originates from my area. I do not know much about short-wave radio, but I understand that the listenership can be as high as normal radio in some parts of the world. This would be more of an underground movement, but still a positive step forward. My neighbor "broadcasts" his show on Tuesday evenings. I will let you know if he gets any feedback from the song.

ROCK ON FIRE BALL!!!

I didn't know that short-wave had actual programming- I thought it was just people chatting from country to country. That's interesting- perhaps it will stir up some interest in advance of the August CHSIB release.

Yeah, there are some avid short wave broadcasters out there, some of them are quite popular. I guess the broadcast range for short-wave can be much greater than normal radio.

Further evidence that CHSIB is poised to take over America: last night I walked by my son's room after he had gone to bed only to hear him singing to himself "don't say a word/silence is gold". Then today he asked to hear "that cool song", meaning CHSIB. Ah ha, you see once we have the six year old set initiated into Meat Loaf the rest will fall into place!

Vicki,
I think if your Dad played a Meat loaf song that would be great.

But I'm wondering if he might be more agreeable to Kasim's "We the People", it has a very patriotic fervor. Kas wrote it for this album, but it didn't fit in, apparently. It's on "Quid Pro Quo", Kas' release last year. A great song IMO, I think your Dad might love it. Just a thought.

I'm sure you know about it, but thought this was an oppurtunity to plug a great song and CD by Meat's musical director. LOL

Hi T !

What a great idea :) I have Quid Pro Quo and I love the song !!
It's definitely patriotic and would be perfect for the flag store :)
But unfortunately I'm stuck listening to news radio all day :(
... unless of course I can sneak in my portable CD player when he isn't looking .....
It's worth a shot :))
