View Full Version : RE : Mercury Survey
To re-assure any who doubt the validity of this project, an email address for Mercury has been temporarily added to the form. This is a personal email address, so for those who feel a need to investigate the html code, we ask that you please do not abuse it.
Here's the link to complete the form :

Vicki
Getting back on topic, this is just to confirm that as I promised earlier in the now locked thread, now the Mercury offices are open and Clive out of his meetings, we have an email address to send the forms to which is their chosen one.
The title of the form will now change to:
MEAT LOAF QUESTIONS
Ther is nothing sinister in this. It's just their way of identifying the forms and allocating them to the correct recipient.
These changes will take place as soon as Vicki is out of bed .. this being her day off :)
In order to end this useless debate i'm going to do this:
1. This thread will be split into two parts; the discussion part will be moved to the Feedback area.
2. The promo part will get locked and stickied.
3. If you want to add something to this thread, please send your text to Diane, Sue or me.
New posts in this forum dealing with this topic will get locked or will be deleted.
Some answers to questions regarding this have been answered by Mercury:
Q: We have set 23 June as the cut off date for responses. Do you want to go with that, extend or shorten it?
A: 23RD JUNE IS PERFECT
Q: Does Meat know this is going on and who is involved btw?
A: YES MEATS MANAGMENT KNOW WE ARE DOING THIS
Q: When will the release be?
A: TO BE DECIDED
Q: When can we let the fans know what decisions you have made?
A: AS SOON AS WE HAVE ALL THE RESULTS WE'LL LET YOU KNOW
Q: Will Mercury be pressing more than 6500 copies this time?
A: WE PRESSED A LOT MORE THAN 6,500 LAST TIME, TO DATE ITS UP TO 12,000 SHIPPED, THE FIGURE WAS WHAT RETAIL ORDERED, SOMETHING THEY DECIDE AND NOT US.
Q: To help with the posters it would be really helpful to know what the CD cover will look like, and if there are to be any new promotional photos, they would be great to use as well.
A: THIS HASN'T BEEN DECIDED AND MEAT WILL BE (AS ALWAYS) CLOSELY INVOLVED IN CHOOSING THE SLEEVE, I'LL SEND YOU NEW PHOTO'S ETC
Q: People want to help, but they also want to know will there be a point?
A: THERE'S ALWAYS A POINT!!!!!!!!! WE'LL GIVE YOU THE FULL RELEASE DATE DETAILS AS SOON AS WE GET THEM AND HOPEFULLY WE CAN DRIVE MORE SALES THOUGH ON THE NEXT SINGLE.
Today 23 June is the final day for completing the Mercury Survey.

Mercury has now drawn the winners for the 5 autographed CDs .. they are:

Congratulations to the lucky winners, and many thanks to all who took part in the survey.
It is too soon to give feedback from the results, but as soon as Mercury are in a position to do this it will be posted
Caryl just mailed me this:
Mercury will be sending the 5 autographed albums out to the lucky winners today.
They thank everyone for their input, and as soon as Caryl has any further information about the results it will be posted here.
