If there was a proper release then I would pick from the 20/20 / BBIS tour. But there isn't!
For me it's between the LATW one and Bad Attitude Live. Sadly the latter is spoiled by Doreen Chanter's annoying screech.

I agree with your reason given for discounting the latter, I'll say the LATW version

You missed the opportunity to attempt a pun based on your name!

I'm prettypartial to the version that was on the B-side of the Objects single, with the spoken intro over the piano. Only prob is the ~~~~ up (where Meat blames Pat :-p ) whereby they don't do the 'fast' version of the first verse.

Yeah that was on the Bat 2 deluxe version thing with the live songs on the 2nd disc as well, not as big a fan of that
Evil One I agree with you. the 20/20 tour with louie louie stands as the best.
but on the bottom line 1985 lp revved up is the version on balive with lower backing vocals and full intro speech about growing up in TX. thats the best.
followed swiftly by the agora's ballroom version.
worst = dortmund tv performance 1981. blah.

That might actually be Pat's fault. Meat has done songs in that style before. MATLAF springs to mind.
It would be a toss up between LATW and MSO DVD. Worst would be 3 Bats live, since they don't even sing the whole song and Meat doesn't sing it at all.

Carole
problem w/ MSO = riff is not repeated.

Returning to an old thread but I've just been listening to All Revved Up from the El Mocambo show in 1978. I had forgotten what an amazing performance it was, and as it was released on a promo LP, it can become my favourite 'official' version of said song.

In complete agreement with you Carole, LATW and MSO are my tops. My worst version is The Bat Attitude Live (Doreen's voice ) tied with 3 Bats Live.
Changed to: Slagharen, 1989
