The reason why I am asking is cause I have this on vhs and it is in perfect condition. I am thinking of putting it onto dvd, but want to make sure it isn't out on disc already. I know Hits out of hell is on dvd, and heard of a few dvd's have dead ringer of love on them but don't know where to look. Also why hasn't all the music videos ever been released on to dvd? like a 2 disc dvd or something, different companys own the videos?

nope, as of now there is only the vhs release of the Bat 2 Picture show.

As far as I know only the HOOH discs which were released together with the BOOH album (25th anniversary and Special Edition I think) contain DRFL. The 06 SE also contains different menu designs.

Your guess about the different companies is most likely correct.

So far I have only seen a laser disc from Japan on Ebay. I learned my lesson on buying movies from over there, I got took and won't buy from oversea's sellers again. Plus my cousin bought from there as well and had the same thing happen. :( So it is ok if you put your own vhs onto dvd? I had heard as long as you don't sell the copy and make a profit you should be ok....right?

I'm sorry you got "burned" on Ebay ... thankfully I've never had a problem.
Yes, you should be fine if you make your own copy. I've been doing the same thing with my VHS tapes ... after I copy them onto DVD, I stick the original tapes in a box in the top of my closet :))

I know exactly what you mean ... I could never part with my collection either.

The live performances are the best part. They should release the entire concert on dvd.

I found a copy of The complete of Meat Loaf on dvd on ebay. I think it is a bootleg but the live performances from BOOH 2 vhs were from that show. I don't know if it is from vh1 or where it was orginally shown.

would have to be 'The History of Meat Loaf Live', although rumour has it it doesnt include the whole concert. (besides the obiviously missing end to BOOH)

I need to correct what I posted earlier. I meant to say I could never part with my collection, unless it was for a really good cause :-)

Before Vee, who ran Meat's Official International Fan Club website (OIFC), passed away, she had to sell her collection.

I knew it broke her heart, so I sent her everything I had ... telling her to keep what she wanted, and to sell the rest.

I've managed to rebuild most of my collection. But I have no regrets ... Vee was overwhelmed, and knowing that I helped ease her pain (at least for a little while) really meant a lot to me.

Sorry it was late, and I was getting ready to sign off. I didn't even proof read what I wrote.

Well it's only taken Rockpalast 30 years to be released on DVD, so at this rate the Bat2 live performance will be out some time around 2024 ;)
