Hi Everyone!

On Wednesday 18th March (a week today!) I'm holding a big event at my University in aid of Barnardo's charity. It will be a fundraising world record attempt to collect the most handprints (on paper). It's going to be a great day event with the local community getting their hands stuck in (literally).

Now our target goal is £1000 for a brilliant worth while charity and we're so excited to be doing this for them.

I practically grew up in the Meat Loaf "neighbourhood" and although not everyone (including myself) has been angels to each other I know how generous and brilliant everyone can be. Your ability to hold so much love and compassion in you is amazing (ok maybe not all of you, but majority pretty much over rules :P). Now I'm not trying to butter you up, but what I am saying is that if you are willing to support the charity, the world record attempt or even if it's just because you like me, you would be proving me right about what I've just said.

You can either help by donating your very own handprint and a small donation, or just send a small (or large :D) donation our way. Honestly every little would really help.

Ok to donate money simple go to: Just Giving (http://www.justgiving.com/fingertipevents) And the more you donate the more we'll all love and adore you! :D

And to donate your handprint, get as creative as you want at home or on the PC or whatever and pm me so I can send you an posting address. All handprints must be delivered no later than wednesday (tuesday preferably though)

Oooo I'm so excited! Please please please open your hearts and do me proud, Loafsters!

Hey RSG, any donation would be fantastic. Here at home we're all scraping the pennies from the sofa's and under our beds so anything you can donate will be brilliant.

Barnardos really is a great cause, helping children and their families and carers. Here's just a little paragraph taken from there website which explains why they're such an important charity:

Barnardo’s believes in children regardless of their circumstances, gender, race, disability or behaviour.

We believe in the abused, the vulnerable, the forgotten and the neglected. We will support them, stand up for them and bring out the best in each and every child.

We do this because we believe that every child deserves the best start in life and the chance to fulfil their potential.

We use the knowledge gained from our direct work with children to campaign for better childcare policy and to champion the rights of every child.

So i know this is all in the shadow of Comic Relief, but if you or your family or your friends could just spare 50p, £1, £10, £3.64, then that would just be amazing. We've had som really generous donations so far and I thank eveyone who's spared us a few coppers. Every little really does help.

So please send anything you can to www.justgiving.com/fingertipevents

Thank you! :)

It's so easy and it would really mean alot to me if you could donate anything at all. Honestly even 50p would help us more than you think :)! x
