does the running idiot who thinks his ass is faster than a train's leave a shoe behind as he sprints off? i can't quite figure it out.

daveake

Yes. Not quite sure if the train wheel caught the shoe, but however it happened that was pretty damn close!

But not close enough :-(

for the idiot maybe...what about the poor driver though?

 One of my customers used to be a train driver.
One night he wasn't at the pub I was playing and somebody told me that he'd had someone jump in front of his train.
Apparently the sight of someone turning instantly to soup on the front of your cab can have a rather unsettling effect, and I never saw the bloke again.

That second bloke on the vid couldn't have come closer to that train if he was in an Aerosmith vid :wtf:

Absolutely spare some thoughts for the drivers, a friend of mine used to be a train manager and if anyone ended up in front of the train then he and the driver were the first on the scene to deal with it...he had some right horror stories :? Guess it's something you've just got to toughen up to :?

I heard on the news somewhere that many train drivers end up leaving the profession if that sort of 'accident' occurs in front of them... I can't believe people can be so idiotic as to play chicken with something that size...
