Reason it was asked is because the dish is one word and Meat himself is two, Meat Loaf ;).

I think it is just a rumour with misinformed facts from when he was a spokesman for Slimfast in the 90's and did commercials and promotion.
I never saw those commercials but would sure love to :D
I also did a lengthy search and never found any articles and also checked their website for an announcement and nothing.
When he commits to a project,he has a press release released fairly fast like how they did about his new project on a UK children's show.
