Scroll up and it's said in the first post, it's on a channel called Fox ;).
Well, whoever didn't watch this show tonight as was announced by Pearl to be with her and Meat...didn't miss anything...literally...
Penn+Teller+Carrot Top (yeah, dunno what was that about) does NOT equal Meat...so...till next Friday...
Pearl, however, was on Rock Wives show and it was decent and Meat was shown a few times too...

Thanks for the information about Rock Wives ... I taped it,but haven't had a chance to watch it yet :-) Rick Springfield is going to be on Don't Forget The Lyrics next week ... Meat's episode will be on January 30th.

Thanks for the info...
Rock Wives was a bit silly and graphic for me...but...with this said Pearl did get a lot of air time and Meat was sort of featured too...not a bad show and ok to watch...

you could be.... WLSA - Wario Loaf Strikes Again
Does anyone know if DFTL is still scheduled to be shown Friday and are any kind individuals going to be nice enough to make it appear on You Tube (even if it is only momentarily before the Youtube Dictators intervene!)?

No ... it won't be shown this Friday.
The only thing I've heard is that Meat's episode will be on some time later this season.

where the hell did that info come from then??
where the hell did that info come from then??
Apparently someone told Meat and Patti both that the show would be on January 30th .. he posted it on .net and Patti sent out a bulletin from MySpace. But the network changed their minds at the last minute and replaced it with a show called LIES. A friend of mine sent an email to FOX network, and they told her that Meat's episode will be on sometime later this season.
Maybe they're waiting so they can use it as promotion for Meat's new CD :??:

:?
I dont think fox cares much about single artists album promo....especially not if the show gets rescheduled two times at the last minute (memories, anyone?).
It's probably more a case of having a show that'll probably be more successful.
I wasn't even aware that they'd started recording the album let alone promoting it :?

Meat did a New Year's Eve blog and someone posted it on here with permission by the MLUKFC Management so then others could see until the website was launched (which is coming this year... sometime) which stated that he starts work 2009 - I guess now ;-) and that he's got producer Rob Cavello (I think thats how to spell his surname, sorry if I have it wrong...) who produced Chemical Romance and Green Day!
He also stated that "He was in the right place at the right time"
SO Lucy and others - see you perhaps 2010 on tour :-P
I saw the blog entry but if he can have an album done to promote on January 30th I'll eat my shoes!

I didn't mean the album would be done on January 30th.;)
I'm not sure how long the season is for DFTL ... but, from what I've heard, Rick Springfield sang his new single at the end of the show last week. So maybe they're going to show Meat's episode sometime later on in the season (this spring perhaps) when he'll have a single ready to promote at the end of the show. IMO it would make a lot of sense with the new CD coming out.
Of course it all comes down to the people at FOX Network. But I wouldn't say they postponed Meat's episode for "something better" like Penn & Teller

so youre saying he should promote a single in spring 09, when the album will probably be released in spring 10, when the show has been recorded in autumn 08?

That's true...the show is already recorded...so Rick Springfield already had a single by the time he was on the show (sorry, I just don't follow his career as maybe I should...lol)...
Didn't even think about it...

I don't think he'll make the mistake of "leaking" anything too early like TMIL.
Personally i'd like him to release the album when it's ready and not rushing anything.
In all honesty how many people would have rushed out to buy rick springfield's new album/single based on Don't Forget the lyrics?
He'll probably seel some compiliations and it'll remind people he is around but i don't think he'll see it as a major platform to shift albums.
I would think Meat is in the same boat
OK...here is a puzzle for all of you...tomorrow's show is replaced with an old episode of Lie to Me which we just saw this Wednesday...go figure...

what are the ratings of the show? did they might cancel it as it's not popular enough...happens to a lot of shows over here, even after one or two episodes. (as i recall the german version of DFTL was cancelled as well, although I could be wrong and they just produced a few episodes)

I don't suppose it is the most popular show ever...but it was on consistently every Friday at the same time for a couple of years now...taking a new episode off the air just to re-run something that was run just this Wednesday at prime time is a bit strange...have to poke around later on to see what can be found...
On the other hand....it could nothing more sinister than just trying a new slot for a new show that Fox has been pushing very hard - Lie To Me...which is a decent show regardless of the spot...Fox is a garbage network but you do have to give them a credit for coming out with the best and most creative shows out of all basic networks...
Aren't Fox renowned in the States for messing the schedules up at the last minute on a cnosistent basis?
Patti posted a MySpace bulletin last night to say it's definitely on tonight...very confusing

Not really...not until now...or maybe I wasn't paying attention before...
Patti posted a MySpace bulletin last night to say it's definitely on tonight...very confusing
There is a slight chance that there is a mistake in TV Guide...because show at 8 pm listed is old House episode and at 9 pm old Lie To Me episode...2 old shows in a row...possible mistake...
No mistake...Fox actually advertises House and Lie at new times today...there is no show next week either...there is Cops and America's Most Wanted or something like that...
as i recall the german version of DFTL was cancelled as well
It doesn't come as a surprise.
I really want to watch this! What are we UK non-Sky stupid youtube people to do? *weeps*

So, did the Meat episode actually air after? If not any ideas when or if it will now?
I think they recorded the episode and then either it wasn't good or the show got cancelled before they aired it...the show doesn't appear to be on in a regular FOX line up...

They seem to be airing the series over here now, couple of episodes a day on Sky 1.
Don't panic, we're recording each and every one and if the particular episode we're only interested in is shown it'll be uploaded somewhere for your pleasure.
Ps, god it's a crap program!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, they have a website...and they have daily line up...and the show just isn't listed right now on Fridays. There are two new shows in that time slot...maybe they will bring it back when they run out of the new episodes of the new shows...and I am sorry but I can't contact Fox for fear of catching something nasty...lol...

think thats unlikely....when a show's dead it's dead (at least over here)

Nah, they keep on testing new shows and new schedules, etc...for new shows they make a limited run of the episodes and run them...if the show takes off...they make more...if not...they have to fill space with something...moreover that Meat's show was already shot...who knows? All I know that one of the replacement shows is getting very bad reviews...
Pudding
24 Feb 2009, 01:01
If the show's dead then they'll not resurrect it anytime soon, but I do think they'll show any un-aired episodes to fill in gaps in the schedule, probably at some un-Godly hour of the day.
