I never knew that he recorded a performance of LG&M on video.
The only explanation I can think of, is that this must be from the Hard Rock Live show, as the version for the Storytellers CD was taken from this recording, but I thought only the audio was recorded. At least I didnt know that(if) the video was broadcasted.

Meat performed "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" on the US talk show The Late Show with David Letterman in the fall of 1999 (in promotion of the Storytellers cd).

Yes, it's from the Letterman show. I'm sorry but I don't like Meat's version that much, although I actually like the fact that he decided to play a Warren Zevon song. That's my favorite, too (along with Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner and Excitable Boy). When I switched on the radio some months ago, I suddenly heard the Werewolves intro and thought "wow, they are playing Warren Zevon" until Kid Rock started singing. :lol:

Maybe it would have sounded better than his version of Lawyers. ;)
