At the end of the F Word last night they had a 'coming next week' at the end. Yes you see Meat with Gordon taking the p*** out of his name.
Repeated on Friday at 10.00pm
(Not sure about Meat's choice of shirt for this appearance though!)

Got RT on Saturday, pic is cool and I saw the repete on Friday and again that damn question popped up;

Before Meat Loaf were you called nut roast ?

Come on Gordon couldn't you have thought of something better to ask than that  !!!

Battybarb
23 Jun 2008, 01:19
How many times has that been asked ??...lol

MeatGrl1
23 Jun 2008, 01:31
Well he was asked last year on that Private Sessions and I think in the seventies but I've not watched any Meaty stuff lately but I'd be sick to death of that one question by now if I was Meat !!!

Pudding
23 Jun 2008, 06:23
But you're not Meat, which is a blessing. Meats been asked dumber questions than that in his time, so it'll probably be water off a ducks back to him.

This'll be really good exposure for Meat Loaf, so if Gordon Ramsay asks a daft question here and there, I don't think he should be hung, drawn and quartered for it.

I agree it will be great publicity for Meat, i am looking forward to it:))

djfierce
23 Jun 2008, 10:28
lol that shirt is pretty bad lol

exactly right pud, plus i dont think Gordon is such an avid fans as us and probably doesnt know he gets asked so much, anyway i dont think it 'bothers' him as such, that would just be stupid to get annoyed over such a small thing, he has plenty more important things to stress over lol, all this requires is either a polite smile or a smartarse comment which this time he chose to comment but on some of the other promo's he did that week he chose to smile and ignore it, dont think its a biggie for him anyway ;)

Ankie
23 Jun 2008, 12:05
I think it is quite something to join someone as Gordon Ramsey in his show ;):D
No doubt Meat will be up to him, as he was ready for Jensen in Holland in 2006 Unfortunately back then they cut out the parts of the interview we as fans loved best! Amongst which was the line of the host sighing he didnt know what to reply to the remark of Meat :lmao:

Guess no one was allowed to attend the recording of this Gordon Ramsey show, and share that kind of things with us here?

djfierce
23 Jun 2008, 12:42

djfierce
23 Jun 2008, 13:12

That sweater was probably the height of fashion at the time! I luckily have the advantage of not being famous so no one is interested in my fashion errors of time gone by ;)

And, I know this is probably a strange question but this thread got me wondering. Does Meat actually pick out his own wardrobe for TV appearances or does he have someone who does that for him? And it's therefore his choice of wardrobe-pickerer we should be questionning rather than his choice of shirt??? :?

And don't knock the crisps idea - I find crisps make a perfect topping to things with cheese or potato on the top (pasta bakes, fish pie etc) - gives it a nice crispy finish (though admittedly I crunch them up somewhat more) - try it! My guests are always impressed! :D
