View Full Version : At Home With Meat
How's this (http://www.architecturaldigest.com/resources/notebook/2008/04/meatloaf_article) for an ideal home? The man certainly has great taste.

There was no mention of Mani & Marietta and the rest of his teddy bear collection. No sign of his beautiful Westies either.

Oh wow !!
I  it !!
Thanks Diane and I loved reading the interview type thing, it was an interesting insight into Meat's none Rock and Roll life style and I especially fell in love with this;

It's a fantastic picture  .
I can see Meat living there but it's definitely not for me, couldn't live with the style mix :?
Really interesting insight though, can't imagine many people agreeing to that!

I love it! Strangely enough the colours are very much like my mom's place.....it's making me feel homesick! :( One thing that is bugging me - is this the same house that they show in the In Search of Paradise DVD where he's hugging his dog outside by the front door? It looks similar but layed out differently and it is hard to tell!!!!!

hmmmm.....a good excuse to watch the dvd AGAIN! Certainly he wouldn't have been that friendly with a voice coach's dog - trying to remember what was all in that room they were singing in - thought it was all mememtos from his career.....
The room Meat was singing in was definitely at the voice coach's house .. .the picture on the wall that Meat "defaced" was one of the coach's other clients.
Nice looking house, but too cluttered for my taste ... and way to tidy (as those who've stayed at the Cheadle Hilton will agree with). Thanks Diane!
Thanks Diane, it was the voice coaches dog, that Meat so warmly greeted:)

WOW... In my dreams  - I'd love to live there and I see he's a fan of plants :-)
A hide away from all the hard work he does... he deserves it!

Thanks for clarifying! That'll teach me not to watch anything on tv past 1am!!!! I was thinking the poodle was his dog as they are supposed to be non-allergic dogs!!!!

You can buy something similar here in the stores. I have similar light in my dining room as they have in the bedroom. I hate heavy crystal chandeliers as obviously does Meat...
I also saw very similar lights as in the bedroom on E-Bay...

Oh wow!!! What a warm and wonderful house. I love the family room and the outside room. The contrast in the colours of the bedroom compared to the rest of the house was beautiful. Trouble is if I lived there I would turn it into the chaos that I live in here. Thats me. Chaos.

If you lived there...you would have had a maid...like they do...
