I dont think how big a fan you are is determined by how much money you have to spare or waste.

So single mum's who can barely afford the albums with songs they dont have arent as big a fan as someone who has every version ever released??

I tend to think it's about how you feel on the inside, not how many CDs are on your shelf...

Buying everything that has Meat Loaf printed on it doesn't make you a Big fan, it just means you have nothing else better to spend your money on.

Anyone who buys this is just encouraging the record companies to release more substandard compilations, that give an inaccurate representation of the artist's body of work to prospective new fans.

That's what I thought, wasn't the general opinion that the different companies that owned the rights to the albums wouldn't reach an agreement?

Yeah it certainly seems unlikely that we'll see a 3 Bat Box set I'd think, too many corporate suits wanting their slice of the potential profits.
