just wondered if he is doing ok with the throat thing. I guess it's all gone quiet while he recovers. Hope he is ok and has a lovely Christmas!

A vocal chord cyst can take about a year to get rid of and the throat be fully functional again. So long as his name doesn't pop up in the obituaries, then I wouldn't be worried at all, he needs his rest and that's probably what he's doing.

i hope meats doing well. he should take much time out as he needs so we can all enjoy his great voice once again. just think hes been going for like 30 yrs and will eventuly start to go wrong like it did at newcastle. like a train engine goes wrong when gets old. but thats another story this is meatloaf we talking about and wat hes done for the music industrie is legend in his own right. he better get nighted by the queen .

meat get well mate.

I think I heard him say on .net that it could take him 6 months to a year to recover...
Guess only time will tell...

I wouldn't bank on seeing him back anytime in 2008 - something as fragile as the voice it really does have to be fully functional to go out and perform again

It would be nice to hear how the man himself is doing even if all we hear is that there is no change as yet and its still a waiting game.

Keep looking on news on all types of media and trying to check on .net but it seems to have been all but closed since the announcement so any news at all is most welcome

I'm sure he'll be back when he's ready wether that be next year or 2009 it really doesn't matter as long as he's ok and wants to come back.I can't wait to see him though!
