Jolly good, Ross, but are you donating yourself, or just making less profit on each sale?

My money is going direct to the charity. Sorry and all that, but they deserve the money and they're getting 100% of it.

look at other people and their products, buisness sell theres and part of it goes to charity so why can't I do it?

I have to make some money but come on 50% is good ain't it? at least I'm not being stingy and doing 20% of each item goes to charity.. now that WOULD be stingy.

Do you know what I call stingy?
Placing commercial advertisments on a website without contacting the owner first. Not that we would have allowed it, but at least it would have shown that you run your "business" with decency. Talking about decency, it would only be fair to share a small percentage of your revenue with the owners for covering the hosting fees and bandwidth costs. But now it looks like another lame spam attempt by using our resources and our bandwidth.

This thread would usually earn you a 100 point spam infraction, equaling a permanent ban. This time I'm letting you get away with a warning and if you have any interest in visiting this site in the future, think at least twice before posting (and if you are in doubt contact us first), because you will be banned immediately on posting content which is against this site's forum rules.

sorry... I thought it would be okay as its for CIN but obviously not... so now I know.
I do want to still be a part of the site and therfore I'll have to think twice to stop myself from posting "not" allowed stuff.

Only half of it was for CIN Ross, the rest was to go in your pocket.

How many times are you going to say 'so now I know'?

Deb

WOW Ross I was wrong, you are learning really fast. Just went to your 'shop' £20 for a fricking teddy bear  Did you double the prices then say you were giving half to CIN

If a drug dealer came on here and said that they'll donate 50% of all profits made on spliffs, E tabs, whizz, ganja and poppers to Children In Need I'm placing a safe bet that it wouldn't be OK.

You seem a nice enough chap at heart Ross, but I got to be honest with you, you're flogging a dead horse with your merchandise, regardless if your intentions are noble or not.

well thats becuase of where I get them from. The price the company sells them at is; £18.00 so I am only making £2 profit (so not alot)

If anyone knows a cheaper place please say.... you learn from mistakes.

what about the music? you would wait til the cd is out and then buy the cd with all songs on or would you buy the singles that are available now?

I've learnt that if you never know unless you try and thats what I am doing... trying.... please give me my praise for that if nothing else...

Deb

Yes Ross I will give you that, you are VERY trying

I've learnt that if you never know unless you try ...

Or indeed, if you ask. Like asking if it's OK to advertise here, or asking if it's OK to use someone's work on your website, or asking if it's OK to sell bootlegs you've been given for free. I'm kinda surprised that with the flack you've justifiably received on those and other things you've "tried" that, by now, you haven't figured out it's safer to ask first.

From what I've heard I wouldn't buy the CD at all. But generally speaking, I usually listen to all the tracks on any CD to see if the majority of the songs are good and then purchase the whole album. If only one or two of the tracks are any good then that's all I'll get.

I think you need to learn to sing before trying anything to be perfectly frank. But as I said in another thread on another day, God loves a tryer

I'm not trying to become anyone's enemy, your entitled to your opinions and so is everyone else.

No offence Ross, but not everyone said you could sing. I for one haven't said that.

I know you haven't... I said some, as in a couple but haven't named anyone.
Sorry if it confused you, I should said that before.

I would start a poll for this but I don't know how... Am I a Good Singer: yes or no and then we'd including me know the correct answer

I think the word "everyone" in place of "a couple of people" may have been part of the confusion ...
