Not easy, because I actually subscribe to the 'album in it's entirety' theory this time around (I ALWAYS play it on a loop - not an easy feat with a four sided vinyl), but I picked 'MORE'. Weird, eh?

I know what you mean. I went with the obvious, but part of me was tempted to go with Only When I Feel as it seems so unloved sometimes - which is somewhat ironic I guess considering the lyrics.

Yes, I see it as a whole, heard it as one first time I put it in the player, and hear it that way still. I chose Going All The Way as it's the biggest, longest, most epic scene in the musical

It certainly is. Works equally well in an actual musical too, for the record.

I like Meat's 'harder' sound - went for 'More'. Hell, I liked 'The Monster Is Loose', even if nobody else did.

TMIL is a jam. Its just not a bat song imo.

I really like The Monster Is Loose too. When it came out I was busy making a music video from footage of Dawn of the dead (1978 ). The build up after the second soft bridge went so well together with showing footage of more and more zombies lurking around the shopping centre (at every beat there was a different scene etc). I never finished making it.

TMIL sounds strangely steinmanesque in the bridge. I also think that the opening (with the siren like sound) really fits the bat theme.

You know what's weird though, I would agree that top 3 are my favourite songs on the album (although I also get the point of it being one piece). I couldn't pick just one so I won't be voting. I would probably have Godz as one of my favourites as well, it's just so powerful.

I think for those of us who see it as one seamless piece of musical theatre it was difficult to get started
