So a little summary of the tracks that will be on Braver than we are:
(Of what we know now) is (?)
- prize fight lover
- braver than we are
- what part of my body hurts the most
- more

Did I miss some more?

What Part Of My Body is NOT on the album.

So far Braver Than We Are, More and Prize Fight Lover have been mentioned by Meat recently. Speaking in Tongues was mentioned a while ago. I suspect Who Needs The Young to be on it.

I think one called 'Scars' was mentioned? I'd been wondering if it might be based around the opening of 'It Hurts (Only When I Feel).

Hi Meat,

Any chance of letting us know the 8 Steinman songs on the Album - just the titles, lots of speculation is going to be around as to whether they are "NEW" songs or version of songs from previous musicals / Steinman projects etc?

Thanks

Awesome updates Meat! Exciting times.

Does this mean you'll finally be recording Dance In My Pants and Loving You's A Dirty Job?!

I just can't hear the Meat of today singing "Dance In My Pants". I always though "Dirty Job" had potential if Meat and Patti did it, especially with Jim's involvement. Obviously now one of those things can't happen. No disrespect to Karla, Ellen, or whoever. Just my opinion, but a pretty strong one for me if I'm being (allowed to be) honest.

Will Prize Fight Lover be a rerecording with a more steinman sound, or are you just using the digital download version we all know?

This project is evolving into something really special.
It's panning out to be a mix of classic/contemporary Jim and Meat plus a rich and powerful blend of the best attitudes of the last two albums.
Meat, you are whetting a very hungry appetite for this album.
Please keep up the insights into the construction of this masterpiece.

Sounds very exciting - thanks for the updates Meat!

I hope Justin gets to go nuts with his piano - that man is epic live.

Has Jimmy written any new duets? Definitely the best duet writer ever.

Why does it have to be 75 mins I thought you could get 80 ish on a CD?

Completely agree - Justin is inexplicable and, in my opinion, one of the best things to happen to the NLE.

I really like the title Braver Than We Are. I have a feeling this will be one over the top record, overblown and loud. I get very excited like I'm sure u all do when Meat works on a new record, but I can't explain it with this one? I really think this could recapture that old magic!!

It's no different here than anywhere else; it depends on the size of the files.

I recall from around the time the US/'clean version' (the one omitting California Isn't Big Enough) was announced that Meat explained that if an album goes over a certain length, it had to get more expensive. Can't seem to find the post, though.
