If you could Des that'd be great. I know a great hotel near Heathrow she could play at!

Thanks Deb. Shame it's too short notice for me to be there ... would be wonderful to see Patti again. Have a great time and be sure to get plenty of pics and vids to share with us.

Some of us were merely talking about seeing a concert, not indulging our fantasy driven brains

ok so we just got home from seeing patti, and oh my god what a night i am dog tired but boy it was soo worth it, we were fortunate to have a pic taken and i have to say she is the most gracious and stunning person i have ever had the fortune to meet.

And the performance, well we were told that her and the band were just gonna be 'jamming' but it looked a pretty polished performance to me lol given the fact they had only a couple of days to rehearse we were all blown away. The song that stood out the most for me was 'bible and a beer which was just astounding (and that was the first song she did lol) another that sounded great was 'mustang sally' leading into 'respect' which got a great response from the crowd. Can't wait to see her again over here.

M has all the pics which he will post soon i'm sure and there will be a full video from the five songs that she did, which i will pass on to Deb to post no good at this stuff myself lol so be patient

the venue was lovely, it was in a barn adjacent to the pub, very good accoustics for the band btw. Anyway attendance was really good and everyone had a blast and a good dance (except for me who was trying to hold the camcorder steady )

Oh met two lovely people from this site too who like us dropped everything for the chance to see Patti, they have promised to post about the night too from their perspective, so hopefully see some great pics from them too

anyway that's enough from here, roll on the pics

Roll on the pics she says lol, ain't gonna happen tonight as you've got to bear in mind the fact that she don't drink and I do (more than enough for the pair of us lol)

Ok, I can't add to what Anji's said about the gig as it was brilliant, Patti was her usual give it 100% attitide with a stunning stage persona thrown in.

Here's a couple of pics of the night and I'll sort out more from the 146 I took when I'm sober tomorrow (today).

First off say hello to a couple of forum members who we met there. Paddy and Jane, lovely couple so please make them feel welcome!!!!!!!!

And one of the show and I promise as I sober up tomorrow I'll post a shed load more!!!!!!!!!

And one of the two ladies in my life lol. cheers Patti!!!!

pops up seems to be the operative phrase Steph, she told us that the whole thing was only arranged only three days beforehand and they got all that together and so well. Yep bible and a beer was just outstanding and she seemed so relaxed and happy. Her performance as usual was flawless, not a single note wavering out of place, absolutely perfect.
Hopefully we can get the vid to you guys soon as we really can't express how great the whole show was, the band were pretty good too (very eccentric and energetic guitarist lol )
