Default UK Album Versions

Hi all. I've been holding off ordering a copy until I know whether Townsend Records will have a super special edition. Anyone heard from Kev?

We're still working on things! It's a slow process.

One thing that you may/may not know... the deluxe version is now exclusive to Amazon. If you've ordered with us then you'll still get a deluxe :)

Oh yes. But that was just the standard album. I knew Kev would have something up his sleeve

The Tesco deluxe version is the same as the Target exclusive in the US with For What It's Worth, Prize Fight Lover and Anything for Love. No live tracks But it is only 10. Was hoping someone would have live versions of Giving Tree and the new arrangement of Frying Pan - but happy with whatever we get (and have ordered a copy of every version available!)

I`ve pre-ordered from Amazon where there seem to be 2 versions.. I`ve ordered the 2 disc version - CD & DVD. I can`t see any other versions (apart from vinyl)?

Might just be me....but i'm wondering if live tracks like The Giving tree are being held off for promo singles (like most of the Bat 2 promo discs). and the new Dead Ringer could be part of the full single release of GATW - as I'm guessing they will be releasing it as more than just a radio edit if it is being promoted as a single. I know there is little demand for physical singles these days but it's the only reason i can think why they wouldn't be included in something so far if they are going to be.

Sadly the DVD is an Amazon exclusive so if you've not already ordered it from us you can't get it from us.

I'm trying to get a different instant grat and a couple of exclusives. These would be physical items and not tracks.

My ideas for releases/bundles were amazing! We'll chat about those in about a years time!

Barnes and Noble had it listed on their exclusive set then quickly edited their tracklist

So the 1:30 samples of the bonus tracks on the iTunes version are enough for me. There's basically 2 I am fascinated by - the new versions of Dead Ringer and Prize Fight Lover - anyone know where they are going to be?

Where has it ever been confirmed that Meat has redone Dead Ringer? I know he made comments about wanting to redo all the vocals on Dead Ringer if he could find the master tapes. I also know he posted about redoing an old song with Imelda May (now confirmed as Anything For Love). Where did he also say that he was doing Dead Ringer? Is it not possible that Dead Ringer is live and from the same show as Giving Tree?

I'd be ok if it was live I mean we have had a live version of it in ... 12 years

Yes but Meat sings Anything for Love with Imelda May on the Tesco version - i wonder if it's based on the new live arrangement - ala Guilty Pleasures?

Although I still love the full blown original the new arrangement with Justin's lead in piano to the power of the mid-song instrumental is something else. It would fit with the run time of the new version I guess as well.
