I think "hyperintense" is a good description. I'm not sure how I felt about it. Did you think the ending was real, or not?

Watched Equilibrium last night ... interesting concept, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I've seen it a couple of times over the years.
Not a film i'd say run out and buy, but worth a watch if it comes on the telly and there's nothing else on.

Air Force One was on last night so I watched it... Prefer the same concept with Kurt Russell - can't remember offhand what it's called - purely for the fact of Steven Seagal getting mullered and consequently being unable to singlehandedly save the world....

caught the last 3/4 of Shaun Of The Dead last night. The household craving for a cornetto is subsiding slowly.

Isn't

Technically the last film we saw was about 20 minutes of Rocky Horror...doesn't matter how many times I've seen it or even whether I own it or not, if a Meat film is on I feel obliged to keep it on 'til I've seen him!

It.
Not watched that movie in a while.
It's nowhere near as screwed up as the book

Tangled. Very funny - felt like classic Disney retooled for modern audiences. Beats any of the Shrek films over the head with a frying pan. The mouse house definitely still knows how to make em!

I've seen two this weekend

New Kids Turbo.

It's the Dutch movie of the year. Funny stuff, especially because they blow up my town in the movie

Tron Legacy.

I did like the first one, saw that in 1983 and a few times since. Tron Legacy was.... oh well, I like the first one.

RED, on BluRay. Was very well cast and performed and quite entertaining but lacked any real sparkle.

We watched this the other night and loved it. Thought the relaxed laid back approach was refreshing for an "action movie" and it fitted with the storyline perfectly, the humour was pitched perfectly too.

Fitzcarraldo

Crazy masterpiece! One of Kinski's most brilliant performances but shooting with him must have been hell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yITx7txr-7M (I wonder what would have happened if he had taken part in Celebrity Apprentice. )
