Adje do they still have stupid breaks at the cinema in the middle of films in The Netherlands? I couldn't stand that nonsense when I was growing up.
Breaks depend on the cinema you go to, but ya, JW had a 15 min break. Bleh

I think the Abyss was great, perhaps my fav of James Cameron but I found Avatar one of the worst Cameron movies.

One thing is for sure. We watch movies in a complete different way

It depends. I got totally bored with the long drawn out battle movies like Lord of the rings. I totally don't like these. So never bothered with the hobbit malarkey. Hated hunger games. Just some childish running man rip off for kids so sequels not for me. so guess I try to just avoid things I reckon will bore or irritate me anyway.

Think the super hero movie stuff is getting milked to death. Ant man looks boring and batman vs superman looks insanely bad. I've seen better fan made trailers.

I didn't like avatar either, and I'm definitely not interested in superman v batman

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Wow that film holds up 24 years on. Still so flipping awesome, action packed, emotional and with a great story.
Looking forward to Genisys next week. Although I'll be expecting much less than #2 for sure.

Some oldies I had to play on my new HD Beamer.

The Goonies (my favorite movie when I was a teenager)
Big Trouble in Little China (my guilty pleasure)
Star Wars original trilogy (When you watch this it needs to be on a big screen)
Batman & Batman Returns (because the Burton movies are the only Batman movies I actually like and no one plays it better than Keaton)
Jaws (I miss 'young Spielberg'. Todays blockbusters would be so much more than just visual effects if current director's had at least 1% of young Spielberg in them)
Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Young Spielberg Rocks!)

Default Happy Days, meatie peeps ...

The last film I watched was one based on a Stephen King story... The film is called The Mist... I've seen it before and had it on as white noise... It's creepy... and the ending a bit of a shock... a sad one ... I do like the film, though ...

I went to watch the new terminator film last night, I thought I was going to hate it but actually it was very very good! Some really comical parts to it too!

It's one of those rare movies where even the author admitted that the movie ending was better than the one in his book

Terminator Genisys.

Decent enough action flick and, personally I think a better installment to the franchise than Terminator Salvation.

Not the best movie of the year by far. But also not nearly as terrible as that Syfy movie with the Dino's. Which, by now I can say with certainty was the worst big budget movie of the year.

The last movie I saw was Ricki and the Flash, which was a bit disappointing. The music was good, but there wasn't too much of a plot.

Before that, I saw Mission Impossible Rogue Nation, which was excellent- good story and plenty of action.

Saw Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation in 4DX a few weeks ago when it came out.
Excellent film, excellent action, stunts and humour.
Easily the best entry in the MI series and probably Tom Cruise's best film.

When the film is great 4DX is great fun.

I agree the Despicable Me movies were better. I like the 1st Despicable Me more than any of them. It is funny you say that about the guitar scene. That is my favorite part of the movie too!!
