Thing is considering they have talked about narrative of the album meaning nothing has to be forced, and the fact Heaven Can Wait was in Jim's early musicals i don't think it was ever in doubt.

Not sure if it could still be one short. However, i would also expect other pieces of familiar music from the songs not included as songs to worm their way in somewhere.

Jim does that. I just can't wait. So close...

One of the best things is we don't quite know what the whole thing will look or feel like yet, how the songs are used or in which order. There's so much still unknown about the show

How are tickets sales going? I suspect the midweek Manchester dates will have to be heavily discounted to get bums on seats?

THere's only a few single seats for the first few nights dotted around, clicked a random mid-March there are a few available but nothing close to an empty house - tickets look to be going well.

London also seems to be going Ok too

Categorically no Frying Pan, sadly.
Manchester and the first few weeks in London are previews, in case anyone missed that.
See you there

all i know is if you look on manchester opera house website and look on tuesday 14th march all the stalls are sold out and the circle is all so sold out and the only seats are available is in the gallery i saw this when it went on sale and wonded if that was press night. when i asked at the press launch in manchester i spoke to a lovely guy from the marking department and asked him why was that 14th march on a tuesday was nearly sold out and he said that they have held the stalls and the circle tickets back and only put on sale the gallery because it is likely to be the manchester press night hope that helps :)

Since Danny kindly reminded me what song list he was talking about...

Time to update the standings!

Bat I: BAT OUT OF HELL, TOOK THE WORDS, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, ALL REVVED UP (in new hybrid with EVERYTHING LOUDER), TWO OUTTA THREE, PARADISE BY THE DASHBOARD LIGHT, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
Dead Ringer: DEAD RINGER FOR LOVE
Bat II: ANYTHING FOR LOVE, LIFE IS A LEMON AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK, ROCK N ROLL DREAMS COME THROUGH, IT JUST WON'T QUIT, OBJECTS IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR, EVERYTHING LOUDER (in new hybrid with ALL REVVED UP)
Bat III: IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW
Braver: WHO NEEDS THE YOUNG, SPEAKING IN TONGUES
Miscellaneous / New: NOT ALLOWED TO LOVE, WHAT PART OF MY BODY HURTS THE MOST

All totaled, and counting the hybrid as one track, we've uncovered a grand total of 18 songs so far.

Funnily enough, this arrangement of ALL REVVED UP/EVERYTHING LOUDER was the first cut that Jim sent me from the musical. That was almost two years ago now.

Give us a clue. How close are we? He's got a lot of songs as it is just from our list, there's no way he can include that many without cuts, how close are we to finished?

'very close'. There's one track that I love that you DON'T have on your list...

Just looked at ticket sales for Manchester. Saturday nights nearly full. Friday nights decent. During the week abysmal....theatre is virtually empty.

As already stated -- these are previews only. Mainstream advertising hasn't even started yet.
