I think it is .. it's just that now he needs more recovery time than he can take between shows when he tours to keep it as consistently as powerful throughout every show. Having been hugely lucky to listen to his vocal warm-up .. it is just as powerful as ever, and as powerful as in that video, and with the same level of vibrato. He's right when he says it's still powerful enough still to make your ears bleed

Me saying it isnt powerful doesnt make it bad, let me just clarify for the person who consistently dislikes my posts.

When I met Meat at the London signing at HMV he sang an ooo along to one of the tracks on BTWA and it was such a beautiful sound. So clear, so powerful, so rich and full. There's no question about his voice for me.

Does he sound like he did when he gave his best vocal (on Keeper Keep Us for the Intergalactic Touring Band in 1976 IMO)? No. But can he still touch the soul with his voice? YES!

Didn't like Prize Fighter Lover on Braver. Hang Cool Teddy Bear version still sounds more powerful vocally to me.

Will we ever get to hear the finished version of Dirty Water?

And what about the B&N Dead Ringer and Giving Tree live? It's an oddly specific claim for a company to make, if they were just making things up.
