Stupid, a car chase towards the end of the film is exactly what is lacking in my opinion.

I really like what David Arnold did with the music in subsequent movies but I hate the Daniel Craig reboot stuff, they should have stuck with Pierce for another 10 years and the same style jokes and fun imo. Was getting really good by "Die Another Day" and now it's completely serious, no gadgets, no Q or R, no punch lines and thus utterly forgettable imo.
Hated Die Another Day at first. It's like a Carry On film. To be fair there are some amazing bits let down by some appalling bits. I do like it more with repeat viewings. The World Is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies are his best for me.

I love Casino Royale though - thought it was the best Bond film for decades. It still has humour, some gadgets, but is back to being a serious, proper, stylish spy film. Granted, Quantum of Solace is a little too devoid of humour and needs to pace itself a bit more - I can't help feeling some interesting scenes and dialogue ended up on the cutting room floor.

Yes, it is just slightly uncertain. But I think I came away from it thinking he is GOING to be a great Bond. And the music is god awful except for the title track.
