I think it's a measure of how closely Meat and his whole band connect with us from the stage, that we hate to see any of them go. And we see them up there, interacting with each other, helping each other, working hard together to give us a good show. I do remember the first time I saw the NLE, the only person I could "see" was Meat. Since then I've expanded my peripheral vision a little
and have come to hold them all in very high regard. Which is, I think, exactly what Meat hopes we will do. Kasim is not only talented but a great guy; I love him and I will miss him on the Meat Loaf stage. The show will go on, though, and I plan to open my mind and heart to the new bass player, whoever he or she may be.
