Evening Tink, and I do the same thing every time I watch Cuckoo's Nest... Have you ever read the book? Seriously weird... I'm glad they dropped a fair bit of Chief Bromden's involvement in the storyline, not sure how it would have translated onscreen, although it would have explained why he was committed rather than voluntary...

Last film? Die Hard... Good ol' Brucie...

allrevvedup 01 Jan 2008 23:46

I am legend

 Hairspray  ... Again  !

KebLou 02 Jan 2008 12:00

Hitman in the cinema, I really enjoyed it but other people are saying it was rubbish. 300 on DVD, it's great!

Pudding 02 Jan 2008 12:07

Capote - it was crap, good acting, but crap film. The one before that was Firewall and that was utterly crap.

Pud

mszee 03 Jan 2008 14:01

Sweeney Todd...

YEAH...

mszee 03 Jan 2008 14:01

Actually the very last one was Darwin Awards...but I really wanted to forget that one...

Rickmonster 03 Jan 2008 14:18

Ratatouille: Very good, much fun. Peter O'Toole (his voice) was the best. I saw Capote a couple of years ago, and thought it an excellent film. Read "In Cold Blood" first, perhaps that helped.

LucyK! 03 Jan 2008 14:27

Vanilla Sky and loved it. Took some thinking about after it'd finished but thoroughly enjoyed it

Happy New Year, Luce!!!

Have you seen Open Your Eyes? Vanilla Sky is based on it but the original is by far superior movie...

LucyK! 03 Jan 2008 15:40

Happy New Year to you too, Zina!

No i've not seen that one, I'm sure I'd enjoy it if it's anything like Vanilla Sky but I need to let my brain recover before I even think about watching it!

Well, that's the thing...your brain isn't going to hurt as much after seeing the original. It is a Spanish movie and acting is much better done, never mind that it's not as muddied as American movie...

LucyK! 03 Jan 2008 17:19

Yeah it'd be nice to watch a version that doesn't involve Tom Cruise...great actor but he annoys the hell out of me!

RadioMaster 03 Jan 2008 17:28

kinda watched bits and pieces of some cheap horror movie called "they" last night

He is DELICIOUSLY evil in this movie...I think you will like it a lot...I am not a big Sweeney Todd musical fan...but this I have to see a few more times...at least...

Great cast, great acting...it's all good...

Blackkat13 04 Jan 2008 04:11

Underdog and Meet the robinsons.... Can't remember which one I watched last so it's a ~~~~ up between them, but both are good.

MeatGrl1 04 Jan 2008 09:53

Pudding 04 Jan 2008 11:19

Harry And His Bucketful Of Dinosaurs  I had to listen to the theme of every episode about 20 times.

Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl, Tyrannosaurus Rex
Scelidosaurus, Apatosaurus, Triceratops is next
Taury, Patsy, Sid and Trike
Pterence, Steggy, what a sight!
It's Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs
To get on board the magic ride
All we do is jump inside
With Harry and His Bucket
His bucket full of dinosaurs!

It kinda got annoying after the fifth listen :(

Pud

Hypnobabe 04 Jan 2008 15:08

I SOOOOO know where you're coming from Pud, in our house it's usually either Thomas the Tank Engine or (just lately) Garfield.... I've taken to hiding in my bedroom with the laptop, thankfully they've gone back to school today, so peace reigns...

Last film I watched was Bruce Almighty on the telly the night before last, followed by Bee Movie at the cinema yesterday afternoon.

sexyeyes_jo 04 Jan 2008 17:45
